This has crossed my mind a few times. If eds-vote can maintain where it is and issue out all its tokens faster, there nothing really stopping us from doubling the miners reward at year 10 as an example so the rewards would only last another 5 years. This would dip the EDS APY but we'd be getting the tokens out faster and in the long run, could be better.
