Join Hive at RareEvo Colorado August 25-26, 2023: A Multichain Web3 Event

In one week, the Hive community will be sponsoring, speaking at, and exhibiting on the showfloor for an incredible web3 and multi-blockchain gathering in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains for RareEvo 2023!

This year has already seen some incredible showings from our passionate community members taking Hive to global gatherings across Latin America and Europe. In a down market, and at a time where most web3 companies are struggling with depressed community engagement and pivoting VC funding focuses, it's a great time for us to find our way into some of the big industry events in markets we wouldn't normally be able to compete in. This series of live events featuring informative booths, dapp villages, and keynote talks is a great way for us to build some brand awareness, make connections with communities and developers, and importantly for long term onboarding- starting to talk to other blockchain and crypto communities who desperately need a truly decentralized social and storage infrastructure who have no clue that we exist. Speaking of speakers... 🎤

As part of the blockchain revolution, Hive has always been at the forefront of innovation when it comes to paving the way for a decentralized and community-driven future. RareEvo is the perfect platform for us to showcase the true power of Hive's ecosystem, specifically to industry leaders as well as some of the blockchains out there who have a crossover in ideals and products, but don't yet have companion social tools to continue building out resilient communities. This is where the traditional industry meets the Web3 magic, and it's important to show off why Hive's tech is suited to the full gamut of services and businesses.

While conferences and large events won't always be the right fit for Hive, one of the things we've not done enough of is taking ourselves to places where people gather- not being seen out and about in the places where communities are actively exploring what's possible with web3 means we're missing out on opportunities to bring people to our blockchain. It is really, really difficult to coordinate these types of events when there's no CEO handing out cash or a department created whose job it is to do nothing but plan marketing opportunities cross industry. Over the course of this year, the @valueplan team has really stepped up to support our community members who are working as volunteers full time to bring Hive's spirit to life at the gatherings where it should be celebrated.

This time around, you'll find Crimsonclad on the main stage on Saturday giving a keynote talk about decentralized, voluntary identity being the heart of value creation- right after FedEx's head of blockchain speaking on identities and blockchain tech being the tipping point for parcel tracking accountability as an important part of the future. Being seen and heard by an audience of crypto natives, businesses and entrepreneurs, alongside some of the biggest brands and industries in the world is a great opportunity for Hive to remind people why true web3 is the only way forward.

If you plan to be in attendance, the conference will take place from 9am to 5pm on both August 25th and 26th. Food, drinks, side events, a gaming zone, the exhibition showfloor and the full speaking schedule will take place on both days, so make sure to plan to come and hang out with your community across that time!

Work and Play, the Web3 Way~ We want you!

While the image above is an unfinalized teaser and not exactly what you'll find at the real event area setup (and definitely not full of dummies 😉), it's an example of some of the incredibly fun stuff we've been spending the past month planning. As part of the full event schedule, there will be a number of great things to do while hanging out with your Hive community members, above and beyond the presentations... including an awesome gaming focus to go along with the NFT gaming track being highlighted by RareEvo.

• Our man Aggroed will be there hanging out talking about business building in a decentralized age and all things Splinterlands, which will be a great opportunity to ask all your burning questions... or stop by to congratulate the team on being one of the fastest growing private companies in the US for 2023! • Bookerman, CEO and founder of @wrestorgonline, Hive's real-world entertainment linked wrestling management game, will be in attendance showing off sneak peaks of upcoming game release and talking about the importance of web3 in building equitable partner and revenue sharing opportunities as sustainable business models. He's also bringing along a friend of the Hive blockchain, partner talent working with Wrestling Organization Online, and retired wrestling star and personality Sonny Onoo! We'll be hosting a Hive booth social hour with Sonny where people can grab drinks, hang out with us to hear great stories from the glory days of wrestling, and speak directly to someone who's learned about this space from being positively impacted by a project built on Hive utilizing fast feeless transactions, a transparent ledger, and more human approach.

• @gaottantacinque is the founder of Cryptoshots, a fast-paced and fun NFT utilizing FPS powered by Hive, and he'll be at the heart of our booth area setting up PVP matches and showing off gameplay. As the founder of @keys-defender and a growing cross-chain linking gaming experience, he'll be available to talk more about what building functional, real world tools that focus on fun and safety looks like with a toolset as powerful as Hive's. (Plus, you can shoot things with lasers. 😎)

Working hard during the down markets is always a challenge, but we're so excited to be tackling a series of live events around the world to help more people get to know Hive! RareEvo is a great chance to show off what real community looks like in the cryptospace.

This event wouldn't be possible without all of the tireless behind the scenes work of the @valueplan team and a number of Hive community members who are contributing to making this event a great showing among some of our biggest "competition" in the blockchain space. Realistically, these are groups who have crossover interests, communities in need of infrastructure like ours, and who we hope to explore helping build a multi-chain approach with. Don't worry if you can't make it in person this time, more events in diverse locations will be announced as their dates draw closer. RareEvo keynote talks will be live streamed for the rest of the globe and the @hiveio account as well as Hive outward-facing social media will be sharing more details on how to tune in, even if you can't hit the showfloor. Hive is more than just a blockchain platform – it's a thriving community, a hub of innovation, and a force to be reckoned with when we work together.

We're taking over RareEvo to show the world that when it comes to shaping the future, Hive doesn't just keep up – it sets the pace, and it's time we were noticed for it.
