Hello Hive
My name is Jose and even though I've known about Hive and its predecessor (Steem) for years, this is my first official post. I am a musician, software developer, and a luthier wannabe.
This first post will be about a little app my brother @meno and I are working on.
My brother (@meno) has been using this platform for a long time, and has always talked to me about projects and ideas he wants to implement to help the hive community.
He approached me about creating a mobile app for Snaps, which quite honestly I didn't fully understand, but I still helped him and directed him towards React Native.
With the use of AI he had something working in less than a week, he approched me again for help with some bugs and I must say I was impressed that he had a working app in so little time.
At the same time I noticed the tech debt AI had created in this project, and I started refactoring a little, I am not sure when AI will take over completely, but as long as we humans have to read it, it needs to have some structure.
At the moment we are focused on fixing bugs, and improving the UX, with the feedback we are getting from beta testers. I believe we are only days away from having a product we can launch.

You guys have done a great job and I'm enjoying the app. I've not really used AI to generate code yet, but it seems to be more common. I like to understand my code.

Yes, I am trying now to use it by telling exactly what I want, with the structure I want.
If I ask "make me a screen that displays weather data" it will do it, but it is a big blob of text that is hard to read.
