Hive Keychain Multichain Enters Closed Beta Testing

Hive Keychain redesign (24).png

After weeks of internal testing phase, we are enlisting the help of testers to speed up the discovery of new issues. Hive Keychain Multichain has now officially entered the Closed Beta stage.

This phase is extremely important for us. Before opening Multichain access to the broader community, we want to ensure the experience is stable, secure, and ready to handle real-world usage across different devices and dApps. To help with this, we invited a small group of trusted Hivers that we know have both the time and technical curiosity to truly stress test the extension and actively look for issues, edge cases, and bugs.

A huge thanks to:

We encourage everyone to follow them during this testing phase, as some of them may share feedback, content, sneak peeks, and early impressions of the Multichain experience. The goal of this phase is simple:

Break things now so users don’t break them later.

From transaction flows and wallet interactions to EVM dApps and token handling, every part of the experience will now be pushed much harder before wider release. Reaching Closed Beta also means that we are getting closer to the Open Beta phase, where the entire community will be able to start testing Multichain with Hive Keychain.

One step closer to bringing Multichain to Hive Keychain and all the benefits that will bring to the HIVE blockchain:

  • more users knowing our ecosystem
  • revenue increase from swaps to achieve self-sustainability
  • more volume outside Hive
  • only one wallet needed across Hive and EVM chains

A lot of work remains, but this is a major milestone toward bringing Hive closer to the broader Web3 ecosystem. !Remember to kick in our latest proposal with a vote to see this happen! Your support is all we need.

Claim: Hive Keychain has officially launched its Closed Beta phase for its new Multichain version, involving a select group of trusted community users to conduct stress tests, detect errors in transactions, interactions with EVM dApps, and token handling before the public launch.

Stance: support

00 — Hive Keychain is requesting the help of evaluators to accelerate the detection of new issues.

Why it matters: This information is extremely important because Hive Keychain aims to increase user awareness of the ecosystem, increase revenue through exchanges to achieve self-sustainability, generate more trading volume outside of Hive, and ensure that only one wallet is needed for both the Hive and EVM chains.

Thanks for the invite!

I feel privileged to be invited. Hopefully will bring some value to its testing.

What an amazing work. Thanks for sharing with us 🙏

Hope it gets implemented.

The multichain expansion is the feature many have been waiting for — especially the ability to sign transactions across different networks from a single interface. Keychain was already the most accessible Hive login tool. Adding multichain support without compromising the simple UX will determine whether this becomes the default wallet for the ecosystem or just another option. The closed beta approach is smart.

Thanks for the update—that's very interesting.

It's important to welcome new users from other blockchains into hive and hive users to other chains too.

@keychain, I'm refunding 10.159 HIVE and 0.000 HBD, because there are no comments to reward.
