Favourite Comment Friday - What's Been Your Favourite Comment of the Week?

Hey Hive peeps, do you know what time it is? Yes, it's time for another #favouritecommentfriday! It's when I shine a spotlight on my favourite Hive comment or reply that I have come across during the past week. The comment might have appeared on one of my posts or I may have come across it on someone else's, it doesn't matter. The most important thing is that the comment or reply is awesome in some way.

I started this project almost three months ago now because some of the comments and replies that I read during my jaunts around the Hive community really do stand out as something impressive and have not received the attention they deserve. So my #fcf initiative is a way of reducing that injustice!

I dare say that you guys have also come across comments or replies that have stood out in some way and have thought to yourself now that's one heck of a comment.

It would be really great if other Hivians would seriously consider joining in with this goodwill project, if you chose to you would be helping to spread some love around the community.

So without any further delay, for this week's favourite comment I am giving the very highly sought after crown to @buttcoins for a comment he made a little while ago that I have just come across, it was on a post published by @thehive in response to a question @thehive asked, a very important question I might add, he asked What Is Hive?

The great thing about a lot of @thehive's posts is that he focuses on exploring what's underneath the surface when it comes to Hive and the Hive ecosystem.

The post his comment is on can be found here - https://peakd.com/hive/@thehive/what-is-hive-sq04v4.

Anyway here is the winning comment @buttcoins left on that post.

Now that's the type of comment to get the grey matter working hard. The questions @buttcoins raises in that one comment are loaded with importance for the Hive chain. That's the type of comment you could dive into and publish an entire post in response. I do hope that others might be able to step forward and offer their thoughts on those profoundly important questions.

If you are not aware of who @buttcoins is you should try getting to know him because he is a man of many interests, talents and business ventures. In fact @buttcoins won #fcf only a few weeks ago but if you're comment is worthy you can win as many times as you deserve.

You can also see the response by @snook who clearly agrees that the comment raises many good points. I would have included @thehive's response in the same image but it was lengthy so I have included it below. Again some interesting discussion points with his reply to @buttcoins.

I am setting this post to payout a 15% beneficiary payment to @buttcoins.

Well Hive folk that's it for another week, and I hope that you too have appreciated my comment of the week. If my fellow Hivians would like to also join in with my #favouritecommentfriday project and shine a spotlight on a comment or reply which may have impressed you, made you chuckle or perhaps made you think deeply about something you hadn't thought of before then why not publish your own post. If you do make sure you use the tag #favouritecommentfriday or #fcf.

So please do think about participating in this small festival of appreciation and gratitude, because that's the essence of the #favouritecommentfriday project. It's to show some genuine appreciation for someone else's extra special comment or reply and make them feel a little more appreciated.

Peace!

Woo hoo! I’m a winner. Double Butt for the win!
Haha, I remember that pondering comment.
I was in a place where I was thinking that maybe many in hive put to much stock in that the reward pool keeps the price down.
I was wondering if any of us needed to really worry about the price. If we used the chain like a normal social media… what did the price matter… besides the good feeling of a pump.
I’m still in this mindset that I think so many hive users, myself included may need a complete reframing of how we value and what we expect from Hive.

I’m still searching for the completion of these thoughts, I feel a building sense of understanding that I’m yet to fully grasp.
It’s there, just obscured.
lol, a classic Butt contemplation.

Thanks for the shout out Peace!

Ha ha! You deserve it dude, it was a powerful comment in my opinion and provoked a lot of serious musing. Like you I'm still searching for the answers but asking the right questions is the start, and you have certainly asked some of the right questions.

Bravo Mr. Butt Coins!

Those are comments that really open up to some deep "existential Hive" thinking.
I'm surely one that uses Hive for its social side and not look too much at its value. But because my purpose here is another one, totally disconnected by the crypto market
