Dr. H. Muzakkar A. Gani., S.H., M.Sc. as Regent of Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province - Indonesia on Thursday, 6/6/2020. The inauguration process took place in the Bireuen DPRK meeting room, Plt. Aceh Governor Ir. Nova Iriansyah installed Muzakkar as Bireuen Regent for the remaining term of 2017-2022.
The inauguration process took place safely and smoothly without any obstacles, the inauguration of the number one person in Bireuen also took place according to the covid-19 prevention protocol. Each invited guest is examined closely by the organizing committee, the invited guests before entering the location of the inauguration are checked first with a metal detector and body temperature measuring device. In addition, invited guests must also wear masks, and keep their distance as they should, invited guests must first wash their hands before entering the room. Invited guests are very limited to enter the activity room.
Muzzakar was appointed as Bireuen Regent replacing the late H. Saifannur who died some time ago, he will serve the remaining term of office as Regent of Bireuen in two years and four months.
In the inauguration process activities, security forces were deployed to closely guard the activities, the Army Police, Satpol PP and Bireuen Dishub joined in securing the activity. Health Workers were also mobilized during the inauguration process of the Bireuen District Head, who served in their respective positions.
Plt. Aceh Governor Nova Iriansyah in his remarks said as the Muzakkar Regent must be able to create harmony within the government environment by applying the principles of clean, transparent and accountable governance. He also added that the regent must work well with the legislative, religious and community leaders so that development can run smoothly. Improve public services and selectively design the use of local budgets.
After the inauguration, Bireuen Regent Muzakkar A Gani told reporters that his party along with Forkopimda elements were committed to continue to strive so that the Bireuen district was not exposed to Covid-19. In anticipation of the spread of Covid-19, Bireuen Regency Government has also instructed the entire community to maintain discipline and participate through independent quarantine.
Regarding the inauguration as regent, Muzakkar said that it was not a condition and atmosphere to rejoice.
"There is no pride for me for the position that has been carried out from today that can exceed my great pride in the figure of H Saifannur while I met him as Regent," said Muzakkar.
Muzakkar admitted that his inauguration was nothing more than a ceremony as well as a process of contemplation of an event that God showed, namely the death of Saifannur while holding his post as Regent of Bireuen.
After being installed as the leader of Bireun on August 10, 2017, Saifannur then died on January 19, 2020, and then drove Muzakkar as a substitute for Saifannur to become regent of the remaining positions in 2017-2020.
