It's only meant to be an option for newer users that don't have account creation tokens yet. It's a hassle for new users to set up multiple free accounts because hive always asks for an email and phone number, and it always used to take days when I did it. So for that demographic, it would be wiser to burn 12.50 HELIOS for each new account and be done with it.
It's not like we're selling accounts either, users can burn their earned "free" helios tokens for an alt account if they want, no skin off our teeth if users want to burn their own account creation tokens instead, that's what they're there for.
We just want to see more people come to the hive so we're trying to help to make some steps easier. Even if burning for accounts turns out to be unnecessary, that's ok because it still was a good learning experience & maybe some of the things we learned building that tool will come in useful on the next project.
