Time to un-stake WOO + data from mining/staking rewards.

in #hive2 years ago

Let's start by saying, you only have a few days left to un-stake your #WOO tokens to be available for the general sale. General sale is on the 31st of October, and packs can only be purchased with #WOO tokens.

Since the WOO Token was launched, there have been many different methods for obtaining more tokens. WOO was airdropped everyday to people that held onto their packets. Another alternative was to open your packs and place those cards into mining. Mining started out drawing 20 winners per hour, each receiving over 800+ WOO per win. Shortly after mining started, a decision was made to increase the number of hourly winners to 50, this reduced the amount won down to 342.466, but gave more people a chance to claim some WOO per hour.

Up till Aug 10th, I had amassed 151,974.830 WOO on my main account, and 8,931.939 WOO on another account. These accounts held about 18k tickets and 5k tickets respectively. These where claimed as soon as I could and placed into staking, which was another way to earn WOO. Staking started off with an insane APR and a daily return of well over 1%. I can't remember the exact numbers but they were a thing of beauty for WOO holders. And by claiming your staking rewards multiple times a day, they would compound and give you more staking rewards.

Another way to acquire WOO was by adding to the liquidity pools, WOO:HIVE, WOO:PIZZA, WOO:DEC and WOO:SPS. I added to WOO:HIVE (17%), WOO:DEC (7%), WOO:PIZZA (3%). In the beginning I had a rather large chuck of the WOO:HIVE pool and daily they would collectively bring in 150+ WOO. Over time more people added to these pools so my share became smaller and my daily rewards dropped to around 110 WOO. It was at this point I removed liquidity from these pools and placed the WOO into staking as it returned a higher amount per day.

Now to the numbers:

Firstly, here is my overall per account with avg daily amount and avg %.

Next, we have the only day I had a loss. This was caused by a big fluctuation in prices of the LP pair, which my gains in other areas were unable to compensate.

And finally, we have the period where the mining was down leading into the final days before un-staking.

Also in this picture you will see my final totals accumulated from the last 51 days in the different areas mentioned above. As well as 24k purchased in the private sale, which you will see 12k added on the 14th of both Aug and Sept.

Conclusion

I have really enjoyed tracking my WOO journey so far and can't wait for the general sale. With all the packs I purchase, this will give my account another avenue to gain WOO, this time through the daily airdrop for holding packs. Guaranteed Sonny Onoo nft's which are acquired per 100 packs bought (or won via raffle) will help to boost/create more mining income. This will all be needed for land that will be available next year, so start preparing.

Finally a big shoutout to Booker Man, MunchiesMcgee, Tobias-g and the other WOO staff for all the amazing work they are doing and for making this all possible and to the WOO community for the insights, information and banter.
