Just a quick note to let you know that following close to a couple of weeks of downtime, where the Untrending system on HiveAlive.io wasn't receiving updates - it's now back online. The problem was due to the system relying on HiveSQL, the system that is run by @arcange and which went down due to the recent ransomware attack against his servers.
Thankfully, it seems he has brought most (all?) of his servers back to life now and so the Untrending report is now being regularly updated again with the latest info about downvoting across the whole of Hive.
In case you are unaware, the Untrending report is the only place on Hive that we can easily track downvote patterns in order to both help fight spam and to also identify if there are threats from nefarious downvoting.

These downvotes affect which posts are trending. Can I blacklist the votes of those who I feel abuse their hive power and get a trending feed clean of their curations?
I am not aware of any websites that currently include that feature, but afaik the SPK based sites will be supporting custom algorithms for personalised trending lists in future

Thankyou! I still intend to upgrade hivealive/untrending quite a bit, but it's not top of the priority list for the moment.
Understandable, Hive has seemed to have taken a bit of a backburner - we all have so many other things going on! lol But it is not forgotten and it's potential remains.
This is a great service, and I am grateful for the exposition of the ongoing censorship on Hive.

But play the victim, you are good at it.
There is no feedback mechanism in place for the DHF and no notifications, hence people are motivated to tag stakeholders who may not have seen their proposal. 1 'virtual flyer' via a notification in an attempt to formalise the growth process for the whole of Hive does not warrant a beatdown in my opinion, but you do you.
If I beat you down, you would be in the hospital. I have a feeling you are alive and well.
