RE: Surprise Mission!!! ☄️

in #hive3 years ago

I'm currently trying to bring in a few people from a centralized platform, but the problem is that they seriously prefer writing short messages. They don't blog. In your opinion, is there a place for people who will never want to write more than 25 to 50 words?

These people are natural commenters! We can bring them here... but we gotta emphasis how rich and rewarding the comments can be! I happen to know someone busting some moves around that idea... hahaha! 😉

lol I wonder who! The catch is they are getting up to like $5 or $10 a day for such things on the centralized platform. Paid immediately. How can we make it enticing enough for them to wait and build? Oh, and some of them depend on the money, but not all of them.

Hmmmm. Those are tough obstacles with the current price of Hive. If we want to have people take us seriously we have seriously got to do everything we can as a community to move the price of Hive above a dollar. Unfortunately that’s the truth of the matter and $1 Hive won’t happen if the social environment isn’t a friendly welcoming one. If people don’t like it here they will always put sell pressure on the price of Hive. We have got to show everyone inside and outside this blockchain why they need to HODL and why they need to believe in this community of people. That means we have got to be better in every regard if we want to win. It doesn’t take much insight and vision to see this so I hope that people start to catch on soon! If they don’t I would challenge them to dedicate and donate 3 months to promoting Hive on the social2.0’s for at least 1 hour per. Day... after doing that consistently every single day... what Hive needs next comes into clear picture pretty quickly. It’s a no brainer really.

We need to retain those new people, so it might be good to have a full crew before going all out on promoting? And at the moment hand pick our New Bees?

The point of doing the field research isn’t to impress upon people the need for marketing... but to impress upon them the need for a marketable Hive. If we work out a$$’s off to get 1 person to Hive we have already had conversations with at least 100 other people. An unfriendly Hive undermines and marginalizes all of our marketing efforts and wipes out our retention not to mention all the bad PR that comes out of it. This was my process and why I have turned my 100% attention back towards Hive. I was in the top 10 for Hive promotions for months... and it wasn’t until I realized that the goalie wasn’t in the net that I knew what I had to do if I cared at all as an owner.

Why I say that people need to try marketing Hive is not to market Hive (even though I think this is a good thing and very much needed) it’s more of an object lesson in rational realization.

We need everyone on the same page if this is going to work. This is what drives @Comet.Ranker forward.

I want a marketable Hive Blockchain and I want it ASAP! We don’t have much time and more bull market to waste.

The sooner we all realize this... the sooner we can get busy effectively selling Hive to the world.

I think that this shift in thinking can be fun and I think it’s going to happen and it’s going to happen in the comments not in the posts! Yes... we need posts. Yes we need marketing... but first we gotta get our minds right!

Hive will sell it’s self if we can do this.

I’m 100% sure of it... and that’s why as long as Hive is under $1... I’m a buyer. ☄️

Exactly, we need to focus on making Hive awesome from the inside. I do want to bring those people in, before the owner does what happened with Uptrennd. But I want to do it when they will see what's possible. But be aware that many of them literally have to use at least part of their earnings for food and basics. So some of them will add some sell pressure. But others are buyers, so maybe it balances out?
