RE: Happy Forkday to the Hive Community

in #hive3 years ago

Doesn't it just really come down to: Steemit got rid of The Westerners and went full Korean. The westerners then made a Hive.
Then Latin America, India, etc became the worker bees for the Hive, while the silent few just take rewards through blind curation?

That's what it looks like to me.
And why is steemit valued higher if community is so superior? Everyone said (hoped) Steem would die a quick death. But no so.

Koreans are a tight and committed community.. without boasting about "we are a superior community."

Sort:

You may notice that my post does not mention Steem, nor any "superiority". Just the fact that we broke free.
Personally, I don't care what happens on that centralized and censored platform as my account there is actively... censored!
Finally, the price of something does not always reflect its intrinsic value.

There is a lot of blind curation on Hive that is for sure but Steemit has gone full bidbot, running unchecked.
I look on the auto curation like a Patreon and although I may not like it those that are in receipt have brought consistent value to their community. I am sure that if it gets out of hand we will come together to balance it out. On Steemit I am not so sure.
