I also agree that the play-to-earn games are pay-to-win games. Especially the Splinterlands. But I still have a little money in Splintershards (SPS), and I am also automatically leasing out Splinterlands cards to earn Dark Energy Crystals (DEC). Nowadays these are giving me a few cents per day in passive income. We will see for how long. Splinterlands became a very popular and very successful video game in the previous few years.

Sure, it is a great game also finance-wise but it highly depends on when you bought cards. From the peak somewhere last year the card values dropped significantly - not nice to investors/players joining late.
