I like the concept but I think it is counter intuitive as this means there will be alot less HBD being generated and dumped which could potentially impact the peg.

It also means people will be getting less Hive for their posts as quite often HBD increased enabling people to get a bit more rewards from their posts.

I prefer the more frequent power up model. Is it a challenge to assess people over a month and reward them based on their monthly Hive power up activity?

Yes, fewer HBDs could be printed but we really don't think this challenge will have such a major impact on the HIVE economy.

It's only for fun and to incentivize people to have a bit more skin in the game with a regular commitment.
Everyone is free to participate or not.
