My Hivelloween Experience 2021 and Halloween at Work ✨

Disclaimer: Most photos on this post are from my co-hivers @itsmiessyonpeakd @gerel @hiraya @explorewithsasha since I was not able to bring my phone during the start of the event due to my costume.

Weeks prior to the event I was so busy at my work and shoots with KMJS for the Gabi ng Lagim episode that will be aired this Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021.

Even if I'm tired I am still excited about the Hivelloween event wherein I checked costumes at malls and on Shopee which I did place an order but unfortunately the seller cancelled my order a week before the event so I was left with a decision to create my own costume since I am also into crafts so at that moment I just checked the items that I already have that I can use on my DIY Costume.

After thinking for several days I came up with a decision to portray a dark elf since I when I was a kid I am always fascinated with elves/fairies and it is also the right event for me to make it possible so at that time I already gathered the things I needed wherein I already have an elf ears and a crown that I need to change the color in order for it to match my skin tone and to also attach the accessories of my supposedly crown for the dark elf look then after that I decided to also make an elf wings but not the typical ones so what I did is I created the wings with the help of my dad by using a pvc pipe, black garbage bags, straws, double sided tapes and some rope in order for me to pull the handle and make the wings move and I also wanted it to look raw since I also want to show that things can be possible as long as you have a creative mind and you exert an effort to make it possible.

To be honest I am quite not ready to wear the costume and present it to everyone since I don't feel confident about my body but instead of focusing on that I refused to dwell on it and I changed my point of view because for me yes I might have flaws but that doesn't stop me frome feeling awesome for my own difference so right at that moment I consider myself as flawsome, I'm an individual who has flaws but still feels awesome so since the stage is ready and my name is called by the gorgeous @swaycanete I just walked like its my own runway moment and pose like I deserved that moment to represent myself and the character I portray.

During the event I felt so blessed to be surrounded with the right people who encourages everyone to strive and also supports everyone regardless of the differences and it is so heartwarming to see happy faces of the people from the community from the event which is already a major factor that shows the event was definitely successful and about the food? everything is DELICIOUS and we were so blessed since @jeennicious was so kind enough to send us the cute and spooky cupcakes which everyone enjoys and after that we all enjoyed the after party.

I am beyond blessed to be part of the community and as your Hivelloween Star 2021 I will leave you a message that is very meaningful to me:

"Hive for me is FAMILY because in this platform I never felt being left or forgotten I felt valued as an individual and no matter what gender, race, shape and size you are welcome here at Hive!"

Two days after the event I was the one appointed at our office to dress up to represent our team for the halloween event so since I lack out of time I use the same outfit and obviously it is already washed Haha and at that moment since time is definitely ticking I did multitask doing my makeup while doing my work it was quite a pressure but I was able to do it and had the photoshoot at the right time after I did my makeup and here are the outcome photos:
