I got to the end of this obstacle course at the airport and have some time for reflection. Still can't believe it all was for real...
Was it just a dream? I still do not believe that people who seemed to live in another distant world turned out to be so open, sincere and simple. Sometimes I looked into their eyes and smiles and it seemed that I was about to recognize an old friend. Yesterday during the farewell dinner I was overwhelmed with emotions that I haven't felt in a long time, since I left my hometown.
The airport Schipol is extremely crowded, and from time to time I am pleasantly surprised to see the faces of my new friends in the crowd, or hear their voices. And the next moment I understand that I was wrong.
And although I am sad, it is a light sadness. Because... everything passes, and this shall pass too. But nice memories will remain and warm me in cold days like we are having now in Kyiv. Besides, we are all here in touch on Hive. And now for me it's much more than just a community.
I'm not very good at expressing my feelings, especially in English. So ... just know that I will miss every minute. And thank you for everything.
I'm so glad to see you at last and spend time together, take care on your journey home and see you around on the chain and in person again at the next HF8!
You are a light ! Ever since Thursday when I arrived I felt friendship. That you came and showed your cause is amazing. These times are so hard that we all tried to make it a bit easier. I wish you strenght, love and hope but above all I hope many go to teh nft project. I will do that aswell just because of the sake of it and because your re the force behind it. Love from me and sorry I could not attend the goodbye dinner but covid is real.

Safe trip home. Sad that I couldn't get to HiveFest due to my work schedule but I watched the Video of the Conference Day and finally saw you speaking. Hope next year will be easier for me to maybe attend the HiveFest, but we'll see. Have a safe trip home.

I hope you made it back safely and I'm so glad to hear your HiveFest experience was so memorable! I felt the same way during my first closing dinner...so much melancholy that it was all coming to an end. But, on the bright side, I've kept up many of the friendships for six years. I'm sure it'll be the same way for you.

I definitely feel you! The posts are like replaying it all again for me.
I attended SF 1 (Amsterdam) and SF 2 (Lisbon) and presented at both. I missed the next two in Bangkok and Krakow because of a big project I was working on and then the pandemic hit and everything went virtual for two years. I wanted to come this year but, in the end it didn't work out. I have high hopes for next year though! I hope to see you there.
