Movements start out small but are pushed forward by earlier believers. At the start it takes more effort to move smaller distances vs when critical mass is achieved. This is why a lot of movements die out, because when push comes to shove, some people rather see instant results vs long term foundation laying. I like to believe I have a keen eye and can spot the difference between spinning our wheels vs knocking down brick walls, both are slow, and at times can see like they are both going nowhere, when in fact one route is the only route possible to success. Picking the successful route obviously comes with some luck, but I always found those that work the hardest/smartest end up with the must luck on their side.
I hear brick walls tumbling left and right, putting it all in for small gains over and over is something you're born with, that cannot be taught. So how lucky we are to have such people, giving their all and letting the chips fall where they fall.
#HiveFixesThis + #TwitterCensorship is currently the best place to get "free" marketing on the internet for Hive. Right now, thousands of people have been caught out in the rain and Hive is literally an umbrella, we just need to get out there and hand the umbrellas out.
I am going to be ramping up the prizes and starting to add some juicy votes as rewards for those that are marketing the hardest. Many dedicated Hivers have stepped up and leading grassroots marketing and I could not be happier to see it. It’s already making a huge impact because I was like WTF 🤬 how the hell there are so huge rewards lately to all the people I am following.
So definitely that will make me spend some time chasing some Twitter problems where I know HIVE have them solved.

I'm throwing the Hive and 3Speak umbrellas around everywhere I see people getting censored. YouTube, Fakebook, etc.... Anyone who's on those and gets banned, or censored, and I see it gets "the speech" LOL. Maybe it won't bring them here right away but planting little seeds can achieve great things. Will have to get busy on Twitter a bit more too. But they were just pissing me off recently haha.
That small step really means a lot, it is always a numbers game. Maybe in 40 people we can engage with and share about #Hive, the 41st person will join and research what we have on the table. 5 years from now, we will all look in the history of what we have done and glad to discover the small things we have contributed means a very lot in the future. Censorship is not just a problem with companies like Facebook & Twitter. The US Government is trying really hard to make that a reality everywhere with the new EARN IT Act they are pushing through.
The act looks to break down code 230 which could have drastic results even for Hive. The 230 Code is what protects platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and even Hive from being responsible for content left by users.
The EARN IT Act also looks to tear down encryption forcing backdoors for government in all systems.
These two changes are among many more being forced through the door in the name of protecting children. I highly recommend everyone read about it even if you are not in the US as this can have devastating consequences.

Kiwifarms has a thread on this that digs into the eldritch and potentially misleading details of the section 230 debate. The farms may not be everyone's cup of tea (they're not mine), but the folks there are damned serious about censorship and well informed.
If you can stomach it, I recommend it.
Also, censorship is a prelude to war. Be light on your feet in troubled times.

I have mixed feelings about the current 'campaign' . (I have distanced myself from it, tbh).I'm not saying it's wrong.
I AM saying that we are in very serious times re censorship issues - and the people getting banned are very serious people in their chosen area's.
Is glib marketing, one liners, really the way to get their attention?
Or is a showcase of a very 'non politically correct' style vid a 'proof of the pudding', kind of thing - a better way?

Sure that would help. I think you need both, people hear about hive and can do some research. Once they reach Hive they see content that may be banned elsewhere and start to get curious.
