Here we are on one of those dates where the only thing left to do is celebrate, Hive and its community is one that I've been linked to for a while now and I'm always happy to celebrate these achievements with the gang, it's 3 years since the Blockchain went live! I did a bit of research into the beginnings and there was a lot of turbulence in the creation of this space, but it's safe to say that all that effort is paying off.
Just look at the community we are cultivating.
As usual every now and then there is a #PowerUpDay and this one is something special, I've never participated in one of these events before but I was encouraged to grab some of the Hive I earned for some posts and put them back into Hive Power and mark it as done to enter into these initiatives.
Hive has changed my life in many ways, mostly in a good way, it has allowed me to generate income from something I was once quite passionate about (video games) as well as discovering other strengths I had along the way, it's a long journey full of effort and low moments but I think Hive always manages to leave me with a positive balance.
There came a time when I never stopped writing here, the frontends, the editor and the feed became even more familiar to me than my conventional social networks, every day when I wake up the first thing I do is see what's new on Hive and that has been my routine for some time now.
It became a habit, a good one that let me live from something I am passionate about, I have even met many users and we have united in achieving these goals, it is something incredible what a united community can do and although we are not too many I think that emphasizes a little more each of us and makes us more united around this chain.
I still have a lot to tell in this network, I have some projects that I will be testing in the next months, I have limited myself to post and comment but I feel it's time to contribute an extra to the whole community, translating projects, helping other developers or just spreading the word about what Hive can do in the lives of many, for all that and much more I hope to have you always little big Blockchain!

I will soon be one year inside the platform, but I had no idea that today would be its third anniversary, so I didn't schedule anything for today. It's refreshing to know that there are a lot of people who feel touched by Hive, who connect, grow and feel how their lives have changed thanks to this wonderful platform. I liked what you said about "...as well as discovering other strengths I had along the way" because I feel very much the same way about it.
