Hello Liketu, thanks to @yusmelys for directing me here to see that the frontend has been totally revamped and has integrated features to track one's health. I think this is a great addition and in true decentralized fashion, may help break the monopoly on health activity posts that Actifit currently enjoys.

There does seem to be some issues yet, though. I chose the Run option for this post, but the Post button was greyed out,but when I chose the photo option it came alive. Does that mean posting a run is not yet available? Please advise! So, unfortunately this blog won't be posted to my Run section...

I have run on and off for decades now, but always seem to break the cycle every winter. Some years I start back up when the weather warms and some I don't. This year I got into the grind two months ago and have been to keep it pretty consistent.

I started out with two miles a day and have worked my way up to 3.5 miles 5x's a week. My times started out at around 10:30 minute miles and now I'm averaging around 9:10 miles a minute. The run I showcase today averaged 9:05 minutes a mile. So not only am I averaging faster and faster, but I increase my distance with every run.

I'm quite happy to stay at 5k a day, but have found that if I want to hit my goal of 8 minute miles, I have to build my stamina. This requires me to be able to easily run much further than my goal, so I don't plateau out. The distance isn't much, but it adds up quite quickly. Each day I run I go one light pole further than the last time.

I didn't beat any past personal records with this, but I did earn quite a few 2nd bests and one 3rd best. All of which I accept gracefully. What they do show is that I'm staying consistent with my time gains and that's exactly what I want to do.

Until next time my friends and I hope to see others using this new feature Liketu has made available to us. Actifit simply doesn't work on my phone. Speaking of which, I really hope Liketu makes a mobile version of their website, since all of these stats are mobile based. Hint hint

Oh and being able to see a post preview before we hit the post button would be boss😁

Hi liketu.social/download for android

iOS app is already close to app store submission.

You can link your strava stats already.

Nice, do you know why I couldn't post under the 'Run' option? I had to choose the 'Photo' option for the 'Post' button to become active

Did you import the run successfully from strava?

No, because I already posted it under Photo. I'll try it next time and am playing with your app right now. I'll say that I had a problem locating this reply through the app, because replies are listed under views, which is not intuitive

Yeah, fair, and noted

Oh wait, could I sync it through an edit and the cascading replies go off the screen to the right. I took a screenshot, but can find an option to add an image on the app

Do you want to come on our Discord and we can sort of diagnose this a little bit quicker? You should be able to find the link in our launch post from two days ago.

image link and no image upload on the website for comments either?

I just tried to link my strava and it says the activity doesn't look like a strava activity url and won't let me update it, so it's not working

Edit~ I got it and dl'd the app...

Okay, so it's a little bit confusing, but I hope that we can improve it quickly over time with the help of people like you, so thank you very much. I think what you need to do is when you select the run, you need to sign in to Strava for the first time, and that links Strava to your account on here. And then from then on, you can select whichever run that you did on Strava, and it should auto-populate, and then you should be able to see your run stats directly here. And then of course, in addition to that, you still have the option of adding your own photos, etc., as you would have if you didn't select the Run tab, but now you also have native run components that are being posted, which should make everything look quite a bit nicer.

Ok, I did this on desktop and didn't know you had an android app. I'll dl the app and see how it all works

Yeah, that's fine. I mean, we didn't really tell anyone about it. You know, we're sort of waiting to get approved on the app stores. The Apple one is a little bit laborious. The Android one is better because obviously we have agency over the deployment of the APK. And that means that we can, you know, be our own distributor if we wanna be. But we actually have a lot of features and a lot of things that we didn't actually announce. And we'll get round to sort of talking about each of those individually as time goes on. But we thought we would just let people sort of play with it. And if they find out, great. If not, we will definitely let everyone know about everything as time goes on.
