A work in progress. A series of holes.

I have a desire to create things. Creating is not always a linear thing for me. I can build for a month straight and fall off for a few months, come back with fresh eyes, and then delete it entirely! I have been working on a set of layers for a layered .png static collection. It survived that test. The project, so far, hasn't been deleted in its entirety.

I wanted to learn more about how to use the golden ratio to draw some kind of content for a composition. I also wanted to use vector artwork but not to use paths or dark outlines and instead use color for form. While designing this, care was taken to use sizes from the golden ratio in as many pieces as possible. I added a buffer of a thickness that was also taken from the golden ratio around the whole image in-order-to reach the final size. I believe that I started with a circle that was 777 pixels in diameter and spread from there.

This is the beginning of the universe for this collection. It is a series of holes looking into this world, with a view into that world. That world is leaking through, and even an observer has taken notice of what we may take for granted. The hole dimension is a place of wild color resonance and sights.

What do you think of my strange creation? Here are a few more examples. Anything may change.
