Great post @doitvoluntarily ! There are definitely other ways to build wealth besides home ownership ! I have owned and sold manufactured homes a couple times , and am now renting , BUT I have decided to purchase a piece of property 1 and a half acres / an hour in the country two years ago that is almost paid off . We did get the power shack built there this past summer , and plan to build a small house this summer , hopefully with STEEM !! At least get a good start on it ! then all we need to do is pay off the property and thats it , no more rent , no more mortgage payments !! also it will be worth much more money once its done !! we paid 50,000.00 for the property , once the power is put in , the water is all ready there , and we have the house done it can be sold for over 200,000.00 Thousand dollars ! we will at least double our money and more , this is the way to make money , or live rent free happily ever after steeming on my friends !!
