We needed a feeder for the horse and 2 cows in our back yard , but didn't want to spend cash on one.
So this is what I came up with. Every thing I used to build this unit was repurposed at least once.

My wife came up with the idea of using our old wood box which was actually repurposed from a steel material crate years ago. We needed something for the front and back sides so I went out and dug up some oil 1x material that I had salvaged and made bean poles out of a few years ago. I cut them down screwed them

to the sides and I produced a feeder instead of consuming one . I also saved several pieces of material from the landfill.

As you can see it was a hit with the backyard friends .
A little imagination can work magic when in need .

It's amazing the amount of material humanity has piled up over the years, it's more amazing how much of that can be repurposed over and over again. Thanks for sharing and providing pictures.

True that. I have fun seeing how many times I can repurpose something. Thanks for the support!
