Meet John Snow, hes the King Rooster here at the creek, and was the lucky survivor of a batch of roosters we got from a friend when we first moved here. He was the bullied one, so we decided to let him live, and he has become the big boss of the roost around here.
He and his ladies are free range, and we only throw out a little grain to keep them scratching. I love having chickens, we havent bought a single egg in 2 years, and its a great feeling to be able to have small victories on a homestead. Stay well steemians!!
