Did we need more chickens? No. Did my husband buy 10 more bringing us to 25 chickens? Yes.
They are cute little things!
The brown are called Cream legbars. They are supposed to lay pretty blue eggs. The gray are Copper Marans and they are supposed to lay these dark brown copper looking eggs. We have 15 chickens that lay blue, light brown, pink, and green eggs. My husband and I love all the colors.
My husband spent earlier this summer building a bigger chicken house and I guess he's going to be using all of it with the new additions. They're living in our house under a heat lamp right now and I look forward to them being big enough to go outside.
