My first post

Hi everyone this is my first time being on this platform and I'd like to introduce myself. My username is djoecy99, but my actual name is Jessica. I'm 23 years old and I'm an intern at Ineffable N.V, a Surinamese Social marketing company. Some of my hobbies are gaming, watching series, and being creative. I live in Suriname, a small country located in South-America...Sooo if my English is kinda cringe I don't mind getting some feedback.

My current job is that I'm a Casino Cashier. To be honest with you, it's tough work especially on busy days, But I enjoy working with numbers and my amazing team. In the past I worked as a Waitress/Bartender while I was in highschool.

I finished my HAVO degree which is basically the same as a highschool degree in 2020 amids the covid pandemic, it was a challenge at the time, because of everything that was changing around us at a rapid speed, and having to adjust to online school, but I made it through and now I'm working toward better opportunities. May that be continuing to study or excelling at a job.

In my spare time, I enjoy being creative. This is one example of a friend's request to paint them something. It's a painting on wood that I made after I graduated. A friend of mine had a lil job for me and I said yes to painting this for him. It’s a lil bit of a Halloween vibe, but I just love that I actually finished it and was so happy that he loved it as well. I hope to share more about my creative journey with you all.

I look forward to learning more about this platform in the coming weeks since I am still a NewBEES,but so far it's been very interesting.
