Man's best friend indeed

The best dog I ever had is hands down Lady. I had her from 2010 to 2017. Yeah, 2017, sadly she passed away. She was weirdly smart. Easily knowing when I was serious or when I was being playful. She even outsmarted me sometimes, running around the house she'd realize that I'll come from the other side if she just waited there and she'd catch me. She was HUGE, people were scared to walk around her, but she was a sweetheart, only biting when she had to. Like if a thief would try to jump into the yard or for self defense. I'd can't say she wouldn't hurt a fly, but I'd be lying. She killed a lot of insect. Her bodycount included rats, insects and even stray cats (yes yes, I tried keeping them away alright, it was out my control). Always defending our yard. We even stopped seeing salamanders and rats on our yard as we often used to. The rats cam from the house next to us that was abandoned. You're probably wondering what she looked like.

There she is, sweet little lady. In a way, it's kinda poetic that she died in my arms. Had a heart attack in front of me, all i could do was try comforting her. Eventually she stopped showing signs of life. Worst day of my life right there. It was the first time in many years that I cried. But she's in a better place now, after all, all dogs go to heaven.
