👑Little sister appreciation post👑|IAAC#4

If I am going to be writing about what I am grateful for-
Definitely my little sister. Say no more.
I have a little sister, Jessica. She's 23 and one of my favorite people

Photo walk in Paramaribo
It's 6am and I'm still up from working all night. I hear Jessica arriving home on her motorcycle. She just came from work. We both get ready to take a bus to the city. There was going to be a photo walk in the city promoting urban green spaces. A project of Tropenbos Suriname. If you want to know more about that project check here.
The event started at 8am. We made it in time.
We were both out of our minds exhausted from work. As you can see in the picture we both look alright and seem to be enjoying ourselves.
After this picture was taken we were both incredibly hungry. Yes we had not eaten yet. Had not slept. Had not eaten. Perfect day for a photowalk. We ended up finding a street food stall that sold cassava fries. Immediately regretted it after tasting that they were old. We got burgers. That hit the spot. Then we took the bus home. Jess fell asleep on the way there and I fought to stay awake long enough to get home. I love that day. We still laugh about old cassava fries disappointing us that day.

I never did end up sending any of my photos in. They did not turn out how I wanted. Only one came close. Which is this one:

Me and my little sister
We grew up together. I honestly started out as a jealous brother. She was a way cuter baby and got a lot of attention. I'm talking about when she was a baby and I was like 4 years old.
Me and my little sister get compliments from people who get to know us. Compliments on our sibling relationship, because these days we get along amazingly well. It didn't start out that way. We've gotten to know each other throughout the years. We have always made an effort to spend time with each other and be there for each other. Whether it was binging series together when we were younger or an exhausting but fun photo walks.
I really do appreciate having someone I can trust and count on so much in my life.
I have been more of the academic sibling and she has always been more creative than me. Which will always admire and I hope she finds ways to tap into it.

I would literally not be the same without her. I mean I would not look the same. She is the one who installed my locs and primarily takes care of them.

I will always appreciate my little sister.
In my journey I will always take her with me in some form
