Ending The INDEX Project

As of today, we have decided it best to shut down the INDEX project for now.

Due to Hive-Engine successfully implementing transaction fees (currently on market transactions only, but with plans to expand to all transaction types within the next ~90 days), we no longer feel this bests serves the interests of the "transaction fee free" blockchain.

Hive-Engine is not decentralized, and while that wasn't a major issue in the past, we now can see what their goal is with everything they are doing.

What do you do with your INDEX tokens?

Great news! We are buying them. Right now, there are 3 phases of INDEX rebuys. The 3 phases will take some time, but initially we will put up buy orders at about 1/3 the current value of the project and increase the price as our SWAP.HIVE liquidity increases.

We are starting to unstake all our tokens and sell them for SWAP.HIVE. Once we have the majority of tokens sold, we will be able to increase the buy order price of the INDEX tokens you hold. And when all of the assets have been converted to SWAP.HIVE, we will create buy orders for the full price of the token value.

How long will it take to get full value?

We are not sure.

It will take weeks for us to unstake all of the tokens within and another set of weeks to months to sell everything because of the low liquidity of a lot of the tokens on Hive-Engine.

So we are offering the opportunity for those who want to sell now, to be able to do that, just at a lower value.

When do rewards stop?

Rewards have already stopped as of publishing this post. Previously we have seen rewards APRs skyrocket, like when VOUCHER launched, but mostly they hovered around 13-15% APR.
