On this day, July 16, 1969, half a century ago, using 1960’s technology astronauts allegedly went to the moon. Instead of testing using animals first, we sent human beings and not a single person died on the lunar surface. Since that date no nation has even attempted to repeat the feat despite 50 years advancement in technology.
The three astronauts survived two trips through the Van Allen Radiation Belts despite no protection (eg. lead shielding), and survived deep space radiation from the sun once outside Earth's magnetic field. The suits they wore on the moon would not protect them if they wanted to help clean up Fukishima. In the 50 years since Apollo, no human beings have travelled above low earth orbit as NASA still tries to solve this problem.
After their voyage NASA held a press conference. Strangely, the mood of the astronauts seemed like they were attending a funeral.
NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration has since “lost” all the telemetry data and boxes of unedited video. The telemetry data would conclusively prove they did in fact go to the moon.
They apparently also destroyed the blueprints for the Saturn V rocket along with other developed technologies.
But for those crazy "conspiracy theorists" who still say we didn’t go to the moon, is there a piece of incontrovertible, incriminating evidence besides a waving flag and some questionable photos? If you go to 32:00 of Bart Sibrel's documentary “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Moon” you may find that irrefutable evidence.
Do you believe we went to the moon, or did a handful of people lie to the world in order to save face?
