So tariffs make it so I'm forced to pay more for my tire and I have a flat. The way the tariffs are used is to protect demestic companies that produce tires when I could possibly get a tire cheap from some other country and have more money in my pocket well can't do that thanks government for taxiing foreign product

Your country first. Get away from globalism.

Subsidizing an industry that is eniffecient is bad for america and the American people. I would rather allow Americans to get the best deal possible, so when I buy a tire I will look okay I can pay 100$ or 80$ I will pay 80 so I can have more money in my pocket that I can go spend on something else. So if America wants to benefit the people it needs to cut all regulations this way our companies can actually compete with other countries.

Free Markets are great but the problem is in what other countries are doing. America should close the borders and just buy from themselves.

So america should race to the bottom? We should buy worse products at a higher price? I know what you mean, but I want Americans to be better off not worse of and they are better off if we can get the best product at the best price. Also if you for example force companies to buy american steel you will put a lot of people out of a job that rely on steel.

If you force farmers to buy american steel some will go out of business because they won't be able to afford equipment, but if they can afford it then they will still have to charge more for there food therefore our food prices rise. Now sense were paying more for food and any other business that has to buy steel at some point were paying more for those products, now we will have less to spend on other things we need or want.

So in my opinion I want to help Americans not help an american does that make sense?

If I help just the Americans that produce steel by making it so everyone has to buy American steel in america, then I am hurting these Americans:

Anheuser-Busch
Auto parts manufacturers
Boeing
Caterpillar
Campbell Soup Company
Craft breweries
Ford

So if we are going to help some Americans while hurting other Americans then we should just let the free market decide which Americans produce better products and which Americans produce better products rather then government decide.

America makes the best products and services in the world, in most cases, or did, or can, but America has been destroyed from the inside-out for over a century now, so we can do much better, and we are coming back now in 2018, more so than in the past fifty years or more in so many ways, and we can and do buy and sell and hire with other Americans and we do not have to really do business, trade, with other countries, and if other countries want to try to do business with us, then good luck to them as we only need to if it helps us, benefits us, your family first, your local community second, your country third, and your world fourth.

Trading with others always helps if you restrict your trading options it only hurts you so yes we do need to trade with other countries unless you want to be broke? The free market always beats central planning so if we want Americans to prosper we need to cut all the regulations take away all tarrifs and all barriers to entry.

Do you want to sell me something and pay me for it? Why not give some cars and pay me billions of dollars each year? Is that a fair trade? So, if I try to sell stuff to you, should I raise the price? Should you try to raise tariffs against me? What would you do? If you are already losing money in the trade, what would you do?
