Alberta edging toward separating from Canada?

Alberta is Canada's energy resource and it is also flush with many other natural resources, but the environmental whackos are becoming ever more prominent in Ottawa. Every new environmental piece of nonsense passed by the Canadian Parliament just pushes Alberta closer and closer to the exit.

Alberta is also a major bread basket, with plentiful annual harvests of everything an independent nation would need to feed herself, and then some. She also has plenty of livestock, and people used to handling livestock.

In short,Canada needs Alberta far more than Alberta needs Canada. AND...if Canada insists on constantly hamstringing Alberta's future hopes for success, she may soon have no choice but to secede. If she goes, do not be surprised if Manitoba and Saskatchewan join her. There's even an outside chance that British Columbia might go too, if they first jettison the looney tunes in Vancouver.

Make no mistake, an inland empire made up of those three large prairie provinces would be a formidable economic force. As a bonus, most people there have more going on in common, politically, with the U.S. prairie states, than they do with the Justin Trudeaus of the Canadian landscape.

Albertans are strongly pro-life, pro-gun, pro-vaccine freedom, etc., etc. AND...they like football as much as hockey...lol...

Be careful now, Ontario... if you force the prairie provinces out, the Parti Quebecois will be instantly revitalized, AND the four Atlantic provinces might even go too.

I'm hoping my home State of Maine would benefit from all this, too...admittedly-- sitting as we do as the gateway between two of the four potentially new nations. Just the freight transit fees over our railroads would sure help balance the budget...lol...

But, I'd be inclined to move to a prairie nation myself, that adopted, say, a Constitution like the one the USA is no longer using. And, there might just be enough sensible people there to do it!
