The things you learn in times like these. Was I the only one that did not know the CDC Foundation is a private 501 (c)(3) public charity? While not to be confused with the CDC of the U.S. Federal government, The CDC Foundation does get money from Congress as well as donations. Last year it received $87,009,875: in contributions from donors and partners... WTF.
CDC Foundation or Slush Fund for the Elite
Image Credit CDC, Trademarked What a Fing Supprise
Established by Congress, the CDC Foundation helps the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention do more, faster, by forging effective partnerships between CDC and corporations, foundations, organizations and individuals to fight threats to health and safety. Sounds like a beautiful slush fund for those activities where you need to be very very close to the government and just far enough away so your emails and records are not subject to law and FOIA.
In 1992, Congress passed legislation authorizing the creation of an independent, nonprofit foundation to support CDC. Who in the hell woke up one morning thinking, damn how can we better support the CDC? The poor CDC is only getting by on monies taken from the taxpayers, this is just too harsh. Wait, I got it, let's start a non-profit foundation to help those poor bastards out!
TikToc.... has donated 15 million to a foundation that is directly tied to the the USG. Please help me understand why in the hell a Chinese social media app who's parent company was not profitable this time last year found it necessary to fork out 15 million USD for the CDC Foundation. TicToc owned by ByteDance Ltd. is a privately held company based in Beijing. The seven-year-old startup, also owns Chinese news aggregator Jinri Toutiao, meaning “Today’s Headlines,” as well as a domestic version of TikTok, known as Douyin.
Some how ByteDance CEO Yiming Zhang, while running one of the most successful startup's on earth, woke in Beijing up during the COVID-19 pandemic while over 100 million Chinese were on lock down and made the decision to donate 15 million dollars to the American CDC Foundation. This my friends is why you and I are not starting up or running the most successful businesses in the world, because we would have never thought of this.
Now if someone could send me a link to the KGB Retirement Fund, I would like to put a little something in the cup.
TikTok (Chinese: 抖音; Dǒuyīn) is a Chinese video-sharing social networking service owned by ByteDance, a Beijing-based company founded in 2012 by Zhang Yiming. It is used to create short dance, lip-sync, comedy, and talent videos.
This struck me a little hard being one that has absolutely no love for non-profit foundations. Ford, Rockefeller, Bill & Melinda Gates, you name it and it's a shit show of sadistic BS. All of them as well as Universities should be taxed and require disclosure of every pencil that is bought. Ever hear of a foundation being sued, me either.
The Wrap Up
If a Chinese social media company donates millions to a quasi US Government agency and Russian companies donate millions to the Clinton Foundation, then these's no trade war, there's no tensions in the Baltic Sea with Russia. Actually there's a lot of things that are very different than the perception given. The way I see it, there all on the same team.

Thanks for this article.
Wow that is underhanded from the like of Tiktok.
This is an amazing discovery. I am surprised by the ingenuity of its creators and it’s subsequent takeover by corporations and foreign entities, which no doubt seek to influences the real CDC. Amazing.
