In my area, my teacher pension lasts forever, and if we work a full 30 years as a teacher, it can basically replace our income—assuming you can stick it out for that long! But you have to wait until you're 65 to start pulling it for that amount.

That is a great incentive but I suppose you have definitely earned it if you can stick out 30 years and make it to 65
