Russia and Turkey want to accelerate the supply of the S400
Russian President Vladimir Putin has agreed to speed up the supply of the advanced missile defense system S-400 to Turkey.
Putin told a joint press conference in Ankara after a meeting with Turkish President, Rajab Tayyib Erdogan. "We have decided to end the task of transferring this high-powered system to Turkey closer to Turkey," he said.
Putin also said, after requesting from Turkey, his government has taken this decision.
Ankara has signed a $ 2 billion deal with Moscow to buy S-400 from Russia. According to the agreement, this system is about to be provided in the beginning of 2020.
But the US government warned Turkey to buy the missile supply system, saying it could ban Ankara if it was collected, Washington said.

In 2015, the United States decided to collect the S-400 from Russia after removing Patriot from its Symphony Defense System from the Syrian-Turkish border. Ankara thinks that Turkey's sky defense system has weakened due to the removal of America's Patriot.
