My intro to the community

Hi,
my name is Stefan and I am based in Sofia, Bulgaria, where I was born and grew up. I heard about Steemit at a conference in Sofia last week and decided open up an account pretty much out of curiosity. I became thirty this year and have a number of interests.
By formal education I am a computer scientists and master in UX. My latest educational experiences come out of Singularity University, where I participated in GSP 14 and on a renewed passion for reading on self-improvement and investing. I am employed in a software company as UX architect, run a small business of my own in my free time and have been exploring different strategies for investment and creation of passive income through real-estate and p2p lending.
With cryptocurrencies on the rise (having heard the term for the first time three years ago) I thought it could be a nice thing to explore and in that train of thoughts and curiosity I learned about Steemit. I am rookie in this area and hope through this community to learn more about this new interest of mine. For the time being I feel that is trading and speculating rather than an investment strategy based on what I've heard so far but so is anything if you look at it in the short term :)
Besides all this I am interested in sports, I jog every morning, ski and snowboard on every opportunity in the winter, I love travelling and experiencing new cultures and I have a passion for gardening, cooking and wine making. I am lucky enough to live in a house and relax by taking care of the yard myself. With some wines on the property, two years ago I set to produce wine and it turned out. With just 30 bottles of rose in my first vintage my friends and family loved it so I went on to produce a second vintage last fall that resulted in more than a hundred bottles of red and rose that just ripen for a smooth summer refreshment.
