To steem or not to steem? The million SMD question!

in #introduceyourself8 years ago (edited)

Hi!

My name is Aditya and I'm new to Steemit. I'm your typical avid online reader who can't get enough of interesting stuff--especially stuff that adds value to me. Before deciding to join this community, I decided to do some research on the content being delivered here and I must say, when you look beyond the topics concerned to steemit itself, there is a lot of valuable content.

So now, I'm trying to figure things out here and understand the entire steemit economy. After having gone through a lot of posts about what steemit is and how it works, I was able to figure some things about steemit, although not entirely. So I thought instead of waiting, why not delve into it directly and figure things out on the fly. I would definitely need help of my fellow Steemians (I hope I'm using it correctly) to better contribute to the community and also gain from it.

Just to introduce myself, I'm an entrepreneur from India working as a part of the core team of Zostel/ZO Rooms. I'm currently in San Francisco Bay Area looking to meet like minded people and fellow entrepreneurs to discuss about anything interesting-- be it an idea in initial stages, to the work culture here in San Francisco. I can share my  experience in the Indian startup ecosystem. Feel free to ping me if you want to chat over a coffee.

Why am I here?

I'm not much of a writer but I'm enthusiastic about certain things like startups, travel, new experiences, technology, media, fitness, data science, analytics, coffee and some more :). I plan to share my experiences/learning with this wonderful community. More importantly, I plan to learn a lot from here!

Here's me playing Ping Pong at the Uber office in San Francisco. Yes! I Prisma'd it :).
