Now we will be part of this community and as tradition, our first post is dedicated to making us known to you. We hope to be welcome for you.
We are members of a student group called: Association of Experimental Aeronautics of the Simón Bolívar University (Venezuela), which focuses on the development of activities and research in the field of aeronautics. We are currently a team with more than 20 members.
Every year we develop a technological-academic project called AeroDesign SAE USB, directed by a multidisciplinary team of USB students. Our job is to design, build and test radio controlled aircraft, in order to represent our university and Venezuela in one of the most prestigious competitions in America: SAE Brasil Aerodesign.
We form friendships, experiences and with much effort to leave our university and country proud.
We like the idea of continuing to improve, go higher and evolve. Heaven for us is even the beginning. We know that there will always be something much further.
We have built up to more than 8 prototypes with more than 15 successful flights! It is the best time to demonstrate our talent AND HARD WORK.
2014: 2nd as best international team and 23 in general position.
2015: 1st as best international team and 20 in general position.
2016: 3rd as best international team and 23 in general position.
2017: 2nd as best international team and 28 in general position.
