Welcome! I suggest you to take a free HTML5 tutorial from W3School so you could enchance your posts and also make a gorgeous galery of each one. It just require some interest. The more interactive the post the more interesting it becomes. You could also use some graphic IDE if you don´t want to code jajaja.

Most of the code would be a one time see, then copy paste from a template you made. There are some web HTML5/CSS3 editors that make the process easier like Wix.com. You could just design your post/blog stile from a template from there then save it. You must check if the blog toolkit integrated in Steem can manage CSS3. Just make the sample design, copy the HTML code into the steem editor and take a look at the preview. If it looks as good as in the wix editor then you are almost ready to go. For the images you just have to edit the url that links to them into the code. It worths the job :)

I rarely even go on FB anymore and only sometimes post my art there, just as somehow I think I am meant to.
You will find some amazing art in the genre that you love as well as so much more. I am an artist myself and have found Steemit to not only be a great place to share your art, but I feel my work has grown and progressed because of my being here and meeting so many wonderful artists from all over the globe.
The connections and sharing here is such a boon to the art community and I honestly feel that we are on the precipice of the next movement in art and artists and sales and connections and what it even means to 'own' art and how it is viewed and displayed.

Quite an impressive first post .. doing well right out of the gate. I'm an artist so check out my work. Welcome to Steemit .. no algorithms yet, but the bots and status games here are complicated. Its a very small community but has potential.

One problem at Steemit is that by monetizing the activity and adding the element of buying bot votes to hopefully drive traffic to your post, the content becomes secondary. If you have a successful post with many upvotes its usually because people are voting you to get a payout, not because they have any interest in the content. So it skews the feeling of community and lowers the standard. But it does make some people money if they know how to play the game right.
Status games is about attracting whales and people with more Steem to follow and vote on your posts. The big "whales" have many vests and when they upvote you you can make more money .. but seriously your first post is already a great start so just dont lose your keys and you'll be fine .. :)
