I am back after a solid 10 month hiatus where I buckled down and worked solely on my current project, Guilds of Gods. But after taking such a long hiatus, I want to make this blog a more personal one to (re)-introduce myself to the community!

Personal Life

My name is Carson. I am a Canadian crypto enthusiast, videogame developer & blockchain researcher. I graduated with my bachelors degree in computer science and games development. I have been making video games since I was twelve years old, and still have not given up my drive! In fact, I am currently working on my biggest game yet with my business partner and friend @jaegar.

Lately, my brother and I have gotten really into 3D printing as well. We've created a lot of cool projects that I'll likely blog about in the downtime between Guilds of Gods patches and posts.

I also have joined the board of directors at a local charity organization in my area. I've been a very buzzy bee!

Blogging Journey

If you want to learn more about me and my journey, it all starts three years ago with this introduce yourself post post, my first ever post to this ecosystem. From there I went on to write dozens of articles on Seed, my graduate research project where I attempted to create a custom blockchain to power a MMO that my partner @jaegar was working on. During all that, we started @pixelproperty, a digital evolving art canvas powered by Ethereum.

And for the last two years, I have joined @jaegar in creating the MMO that Seed was supposed to power. For now, this MMO uses traditional servers and databases, and is in pre-alpha.

I blogged about this game once, but the timing was very in-optimal... we were in the middle of a patch that ended up taking five months to complete, so there wasn't anything to post about. By the time we finished that update, I had lost my blogging habit.

@jaegar and I have been streaming Guilds of Gods development every Sunday for the past year. The game has come a long way!

Thank you for your time reader. I am extremely excited to be back and rejoining this community. I have always been a fan of the old-STEEM/HIVE ecosystem, and the @minnowsupport community in particular, so I'm so happy to be back.
