Hello Steemit community, I'm Bella.

Remember a few days ago, when you were introduced to Ace? Well I’m the female feline that he keeps following around and bothering! I am 2 years old, and have been living with my family since I was about 5 weeks old. Prior to that, I was living on the streets and was in a bad way when I was found!

My human friend, saw me one evening on her way home from shopping. I was at the side of the road, eating chips (fries), with my sibling. Unknown to me, my human friend had seen me on that same road a couple of times before. She had apparently told a relative “If I see that kitten again, I’m going to take it home”! Well she did see me again, and did keep her word by taking me home with her! Luckily some other kind people took my sibling home with them! I was so happy that we were both going to have proper homes! Of course, at the time I was a little scared and uncooperative, as I hide in my human friends car for about 2hrs, refusing to come out. Somehow, though I eventually did come out and it was the best decision I ever made!

This is me that same evening, eating my first meal in my new home.

I had to go to the vets the following day, as I had a very sore left eye. It had a horrible scab covering it, so I couldn’t see out of it at all! The vet thought that I might lose my left eye, how bad it was. However, the vet was very kind and looked after me very well. First he removed the horrible scab – I’m glad that was gone! Then he prescribed me some eye drops, and some eardrops as both of my ears were very mucky!

As you can see I was very small, when I was a kitten. This is me, I could fit into the cat food box.

Apparently I was named Bella, because I liked playing with a ball that had a bell in it. I also liked playing with a lollipop that had fallen unto the floor. I enjoyed knocking it all over the place! The lollipop was my favourite ‘toy’. My human, had to keep buying me more lollipops, as I kept losing them under the furniture! I also had my own cardboard box, which I enjoyed playing in. It was called ‘Bella’s Play Box’. This is me playing in it. You can see that my left eye is still sore. However it was getting better, as I was having drops in my eye a few times a day, and it was starting to work!

Now, my left eye is a lot better, it is almost perfect!. You would have to look very closely to see any difference between my left eye and my right.

On occasion I still find a lollipop to play with!

This is a recent photo of me, as you can see I’m all grown up now! I like to spend some of my time outside in the back garden hunting birds. I haven’t had any success yet! I do like to play with Ace, we chase each other around the garden. Sometimes, he can be a nuisance though, following me everywhere. A girl can’t even go to the ‘restroom’ in peace!! Oh well, sometimes its hard being popular!
