After walking inside the castle, Prince Adam was given the HIVEPOWER Sword and he was told to strike it against stone and to speak the phrase "By the power of BEEHIVE!" When he did this, he was transformed into GPT-Man, the most powerful man in the BEE HIVE!.

"I have the POWER!"

GPT Man is here to battle the darkness of all HIVE Skeletor drone Bees and their plagiaristic buzz. If GPT-man sees writings that tests conclude to be AI-generated "plagiarism", he will smite it down with his flag sword. For Chat GPT Plagerizers, GPT Man is your worst nightmare, you've been warned! Please don't abuse AI, especially chat GPG because the only one that will lose will be you.

That's great but two things:

  1. From what I see in your Hive wallet you currently don't have a lot of actual HP for your account. Are you going to be asking for HP delegations or renting delegations of HP?

  2. I've been testing some AI-generated text detector websites. Some are better than others. How is your testing going to deal with testing errors like false positives and false negatives?

I'm using https://flag.helios.surf/ to issue flags. I plan on delegating to @helios.voter so I can earn some extra tokens to burn for summoning the downvoter. I think asking for hp delegations is an excellent idea, I might need to create an incentive token economy to get that going through. I will look into renting a few hive delegations too if I can get a good deal.

As for the AI-Generated text detector, I've been having more luck with GPT 3.5. I've noticed some discrepancies between different detectors, but mainly that happens when the detector only detects parts being written with ai. For the most part, these detectors do seem to get the job done, haven't noticed any false positives when testing my own original content in them. Nevertheless, I'm still going to have to be very careful and take into account the big picture too, the history of the user is just as important when relying on the detector, investigating for things like changes in writing style and comparing works from pre-gpt and post-gpt writing samples if possible. Also using one's own judgment to determine the difference between ai abuse with intentions to mislead readers, vs simply paraphrasing their own original content ideas.

Just like everything, these detectors are not a perfect science, so I'm going to be very careful and take this work one post at a time.

Comparing the writing styles is reasonable. One caveat is that when using ChatGPT to check for grammar, spelling, and punctuation mistakes, if you don't put in the prompt not to rewrite sentence structure, ChatGPT will do that as part of English correction and then the original writing gets biased toward AI model. Not 99% or 100%, but it could make original content more than 51% that way.

People that couldn't afford fancy writing assistant software before but can now use ChatGPT for free will have much better original content.

The "personal judgement" is good. No matter what the test is, one should never assume it is infallible.

Playing devil's advocate though, I will point out that judging writing style might be a good approach, but ChatGPT can be trained to emulate that also.

I am being devil's advocate. I agree with what you are doing and I support the cause against derivative AI generated content, but I want to make sure that going after AI generated content on Hive won't be like workplace drug testing and eating a poppy seed bagel will result in a positive test result.

!LOL
