Hello steemians, I think it's high time I officially #introducemyself to this community as I havent really done that #introduceyourself stuff.
WHO AM I?
My name is JOSEPH JIM (25), I am an inquisitive YOUNG MAN born to a family of five and I am the 2nd on the child's list. Got a smart young man for and elder brother and an internet freak for a kid sis @blogtrovert (i hope she doesn't see this post). I Love the internet too tho, else i wouldn't be here. My hobbies are making new friends, playing football and singing (rap songs). I am actually a rapper.
HOW DID I FIND OUT ABOUT STEEMIT?
I was introduced to this platform by my kid kid sister, @blogtrovert, who thought I would do well in it. I guess she wasn't wrong, well I will leave that for you guys to judge. And I have introduced people to this platform one of which is @evansibok

WHAT I DO
I am a student studying AGRICULTURE in a university in my state in Nigeria. I am not ashamed of the school so it is Niger Delta University #NDU and I so love the course I study. I am a #proudAGRICULTURIST. I love writing too although I am looking for great passion to have for the business of writing. Don't get me wrong, I have passion,just no great passion. I am really not the reading kind of person but I hope with the nature of this community, I could cop that.
WHAT I LIKE?
I like being me, because if I were u, I'll really wish to be me. I also don't drink,don't smoke, don't womanize and yes I exist haha. I love being natural and original. What's the essence of copying a project you can't defend?.
DO I LOVE IT HERE?
I JOINED this community in November, and so far I have been enjoying it. Nobody actually criticized my writing even though I don't understand why. Ok I rarely get comments on my posts, based on #newbie ish. It's normal on here but its been really positive for me.
Frankly, i hope to be a whale someday. I have been really inspired by people like @sweetsssj @spectrumecons @stach @blogtrovert and some onther steemians. they are really CHALLENGING
WHAT WILL I BE WRITING ABOUT? or WHAT HAVE I BEEN WRITING ABOUT?
I wrote earlier that I study agriculture, so I definitely will be writing about agriculture. Plants, food crops and how to cultivate them. Farm animals, aquatic life and food too lol. I will also write mnon issues relating to this community #steemit
So here I am SteemIt. I have come to share my thoughts, lessons, and creativity with this awesome community. I am here to spread, hope, love and positivity. I will be writing on a diverse range of topics and I hope, if only, I can make someone's day better and put a lot of positivity in them.

you should be since you have a lovely family but enough of that I welcome you to this wonderful platform and I can see that you have a promising future in writing, best of luck. =)

I'll give you a little rundown:
Steemit enables anyone to blog and be rewarded by others.
DTube does the same to video content. It is like Youtube but without ads as the money comes from users upvoting you.
Dsound does the same for music, it is just like Soundcloud.
Steepshot aims to be the Instagram of crypto
Dmania for those who enjoy memes.
Esteem is mobile app and like Steemit.
Busy is a different kind of frontend that some might prefer instead of using Steemit.com. You should check it out.
Zappl mimics Twitter
Dlive is a streaming service like Twitch
Most of these services use Steemconnect as login method. All of the services above should be safe to use. And all of them run on the Steem blockchain that also powers Steemit. So every service above can be used with your steemit account.
