Hey everybody! I've been seeing posts from Steemit lately and was wondering if it's a scam site or not. However, upon digging deeper into the site, I found out that it was not.
In the modern time, whenever you see blog posts with dollar signs indicating money, we can easily thought that something fishy is going on. Some of the questions that come to our mind are "is it real? or was it just a ploy to get us to join?"
It took me almost two weeks before I finally decided to join in. And the funny thing about it is I only joined because I have to receive a payment from a member of another forum using Steem. Funny eh?
Anyway, since I'm here on Steemit, I'll make sure that I make the most out of it. I won't hold back and just enjoy every step of the process. And hopefully, this hobby becomes a new source of passive income.

I'm always curious about how people react to the "$" symbol on each post. It's a bit out of left-field. You also said that you had other business to conduct and basically needed a wallet. I wonder if that's common ... I tend to think it is, but I bet that often users want a wallet because they want to get out of an exchange.
The dollar sign looks weird, really. But it makes people curious, and this curiosity leads to investment. Lol!
