Why not get more water into your diet by eating it?
This might sound strange but there are many fruits and vegetables that can hydrate you as well as water. For instance, did you know that watermelons and cucumbers are over 95% water?
You can cheat a little more by adding some fruit to your water. Not only will it make the water taste better and more interesting but it will also encourage you to eat more fruit. I mean some of the fruit is sure to accidentally fall into your mouth when you slice them up, right? You also get to eat it after you've finished drinking the water.
So, more water and more fruits = more fibre, vitamins, minerals and nutrients. Win:Win:Win!

Set an alarm on your mobile phone to remind yourself to guzzle down some water at the intervals you write down on your gallon.
