Mi presentación en Hive!

¡Hola a todos!
Mi nombre es Peter Meléndez y estoy muy emocionado de poder formar parte de esta comunidad. Quiero aprovechar esta oportunidad para presentarme un poco más y compartir con ustedes quién soy, qué me gusta hacer y cuáles son mis intereses. Espero que esta presentación sea una forma de que nos conozcamos mejor y podamos intercambiar experiencias, ideas y conocimientos.

My name is Peter Meléndez and I am very excited to be part of this community. I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself a little more and share with you who I am, what I like to do and what my interests are. I hope this presentation will be a way for us to get to know each other better and exchange experiences, ideas and knowledge.

Soy originario de la ciudad de Carora, un lugar que siempre llevo en mi corazón. Carora es una ciudad llena de historia, cultura y tradiciones que me han formado como persona. Sin embargo, actualmente vivo en la hermosa ciudad de Barquisimeto, donde estudio en la Universidad Simón Rodríguez. La decisión de mudarme a esta ciudad fue motivada por mi deseo de seguir creciendo académicamente y de tener nuevas experiencias!

I am originally from the city of Carora, a place that I always carry in my heart. Carora is a city full of history, culture and traditions that have shaped me as a person. However, I currently live in the beautiful city of Barquisimeto, where I study at the Simón Rodríguez University. The decision to move to this city was motivated by my desire to continue growing academically and to have new experiences!

Desde muy joven, he sentido una gran pasión por los deportes. Practico fútbol sala y kickboxing, las cuales me han enseñado mucho sobre disciplina, perseverancia y trabajo en equipo. El fútbol sala me encanta porque me permite mantenerme activo, disfrutar de la competencia sana y compartir momentos divertidos con amigos. El kickboxing, por otro lado, me ha ayudado a fortalecer mi carácter, a aprender a controlar mis emociones y a mantenerme enfocado en mis metas. Ambos deportes me han enseñado que, con esfuerzo y dedicación, se pueden lograr grandes cosas. Además, practicar deportes me ayuda a mantenerme saludable y a liberar el estrés del día a día.

Since I was very young, I have had a great passion for sports. I practice indoor soccer and kickboxing, which have taught me a lot about discipline, perseverance and teamwork. I love futsal because it allows me to stay active, enjoy healthy competition and share fun moments with friends. Kickboxing, on the other hand, has helped me strengthen my character, learn to control my emotions and stay focused on my goals. Both sports have taught me that, with hard work and dedication, great things can be achieved. In addition, playing sports helps me stay healthy and release the stress of everyday life.

Otra de mis pasiones es la naturaleza y los paisajes. Desde pequeño, me ha gustado explorar y disfrutar de la belleza que nos ofrece Venezuela, un país lleno de lugares increíbles y variados. He tenido la suerte de recorrer y conocer hermosos sitios de nuestro país tales como playas, ríos, parques turísticos, los médanos entre otras cosas. Cada viaje y cada experiencia en la naturaleza me han enseñado a valorar la biodiversidad, a respetar el medio ambiente y a entender la importancia de cuidar nuestro entorno. Me encanta salir a caminar, hacer senderismo y simplemente disfrutar de un día al aire libre, rodeado de naturaleza.

Another of my passions is nature and landscapes. Since I was a child, I have loved to explore and enjoy the beauty that Venezuela offers us, a country full of incredible and varied places. I have been lucky enough to visit and get to know beautiful places in our country such as beaches, rivers, tourist parks, dunes, among other things. Every trip and every experience in nature has taught me to value biodiversity, to respect the environment and to understand the importance of taking care of our surroundings. I love going for walks, hiking and simply enjoying a day outdoors, surrounded by nature.

Además de explorar nuestro país, también he tenido la oportunidad de viajar fuera de Venezuela. He visitado países como Brasil, Colombia, Paraguay y Estados Unidos. Cada uno de estos viajes ha sido una experiencia enriquecedora, que me ha permitido conocer nuevas culturas, probar diferentes comidas y aprender sobre las tradiciones de cada lugar. Viajar me ha abierto la mente y me ha enseñado a ser más tolerante y respetuoso con las diferencias culturales. También me ha ayudado a entender que, aunque somos diferentes en muchos aspectos, todos compartimos valores universales como la amistad, el respeto y la solidaridad.

Besides exploring our country, I have also had the opportunity to travel outside Venezuela. I have visited countries such as Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay and the United States. Each of these trips has been an enriching experience, which has allowed me to get to know new cultures, try different foods and learn about the traditions of each place. Traveling has opened my mind and taught me to be more tolerant and respectful of cultural differences. It has also helped me to understand that, although we are different in many ways, we all share universal values such as friendship, respect and solidarity.

En mi tiempo libre, disfruto mucho de los videojuegos, especialmente los de PlayStation. Me gusta desconectarme un rato jugando, ya que es una forma divertida de relajarme y también de compartir momentos con amigos y familiares.

In my free time, I really enjoy playing video games, especially PlayStation games. I like to disconnect for a while playing games, as it is a fun way to relax and also to share moments with friends and family.
