Un saludo muy afectuoso y lleno de buena vibra en estos tiempos de gran caos para el mundo entero, mi nombre es Carlos Fernando Portillo Castellanos, conocido por muchos como El Porti tengo 31 años de edad, una bella hija y una hermosa esposa, oriundo de Trujillo Venezuela vivo en Mérida Venezuela. Desde hace 5 años me dedique completamente al arte, mi inclinación es por la pintura, estudio en la Universidad de los Andes Artes Visuales ya conocerán sobre mi trabajo y las distintas temáticas que he venido implementando, aparte también me dedico a la música soy cantante, espero conocer muchas personas amantes del arte en su máximo esplendor.

A very affectionate greeting and full of good vibes in these times of great chaos for the whole world, my name is Carlos Fernando Portillo Castellanos, known by many as El Porti I am 31 years old, a beautiful daughter and a beautiful wife, a native of Trujillo Venezuela I live in Mérida Venezuela. For 5 years I have dedicated myself completely to art, my inclination is for painting, I study at the Universidad de los Andes Visual Arts, you will already know about my work and the different themes that I have been implementing, besides I also dedicate myself to music I am a singer, I hope to meet many people who love art in its maximum splendor.

Es un verdadero placer reencontrarme con ustedes y conmigo mismo y navegar en estas aguas llenas de contenido que nutre y que fluye dentro de nosotros, quizás haciéndonos entender de una manera mas clara el mundo y los procesos creativos que lo representan. Pienso que comencé un poco tarde, pues me perdí de muchas actividades de gran interés social, pero aquí estamos y aquí seguiremos por largo tiempo, este año 2021 ha sido de mayor entendimiento, madurez y sobretodo comprensión, pues nos dimos cuenta que no somos dueños de nada si la naturaleza se opone y cambia nuestros rumbos; suena trillado pero creo que mi primer post debe comenzar tocando este tema que nos embargo La Pandemia 2020 y el Covid-19, estas palabras se han vuelto recurrentes entre la muchedumbre y siguen causando gran alarma en las sociedades, pues las soluciones continúan "tratando" de encarrilarse. El 2020 fue para mi un comienzo artístico lleno de expectativas, ilusiones y metas por trazar, metas que por ahora están detenidas debido a la suspensión de tantos eventos culturales y educativos, pero no hay mal que dure 1000 años debemos mantenernos activos y productivos, dejando a nuestra capacidad de pensar y de hacer, fluir como el agua y aprovechar cada momento de creatividad.

It is a real pleasure to reconnect with you and myself and navigate in these waters full of content that nourishes and flows within us, perhaps making us understand the world and the creative processes that represent it in a clearer way. I think I started a little late, because I missed many activities of great social interest, but here we are and here we will continue for a long time, this year 2021 has been one of greater understanding, maturity and above all understanding, because we realized that we are not owners you're welcome if nature opposes us and changes our directions; It sounds trite but I think that my first post should start by touching on this topic that we still have The 2020 Pandemic and the Covid-19, these words have become recurrent among the crowd and continue to cause great alarm in societies , as solutions continue to "try" to get back on track. 2020 was for me an artistic beginning full of expectations, illusions and goals to be set, goals that for now are stopped due to the suspension of so many cultural and educational events, but there is no evil that lasts 1000 years, we must remain active and productive, leaving to our ability to think and do, flow like water and take advantage of every moment of creativity.

Cuando comenzó este grave problema de la Pandemia me encontrababa en la Ciudad de Mérida, inmediatamente decidí junto a mi esposa viajar al Estado Trujillo, pues allí esta toda nuestra familia y era necesario estar con ellos para sentirnos seguros y abordar el problema, el viaje fue una completa aventura. Ya en tierras Trujillanas sin esperar mucho tiempo decido retomar mi trabajo artístico y habilito el espacio en uno de mis talleres con una hermosa vista hacia distintas localidades de la Ciudad.

When this serious problem of the Pandemic began I was in the City of Mérida, I immediately decided with my wife to travel to the State of Trujillo, because there is all our family and it was necessary to be with them to feel safe and address the problem, the trip was a complete adventure. Already in Trujillan lands, without waiting long, I decided to resume my artistic work and enabled the space in one of my workshops with a beautiful view of different towns in the City.

Fue desde este momento preciso que decido volver a mi zona de confort y comienzo a crear, sinceramente que felicidad plena el poder seguir contando mis historias a través de la pintura y disfrutar del proceso creativo, sígueme, comenta que con muchísimo gusto responderé para generar un dialogo que nutra y profundice cada conocimiento.
