Alright my this is my Introductory Post @prashantkhanna

OKAY…… So here is my Introduction to the steemit community, My Name is Prashant Khanna (@prashantkhanna) and I am your new neighbor. Firstly thanks to Youtube video who showed me steemit and now here I am.  I am currently 34 Years Old, Computers Graduate from Jodhpur University, Rajasthan, India. Currently working as Freelancer which gives me good income, flexible timings, and most important gives me time to play with my 5 Years old daughter. Apart from that I am full time husband J .  I am new to this blogging though I follow lots of blogs even my wife she is also a writer. She writes poems in Hindi. Don’t worry I will be sharing those as well here, so anyone who can understand Hindi is most welcome but don’t ask me to translate in English.  I am basically from Jodhpur, Rajasthan but it has been 5 Years since I shifted to Jaipur, Rajasthan.

The above picture is of famous JAL MAHAL located in Jaipur near Amer Fort. The Jaipur is also called as Pink City as its city area’s building and other structures are pink in color.   So this is my first post as blogger in any platform. So I have taken good time to think what to write and what not to. As I am not good writer so you won’t be finding very heavy words or long and meaningful sentences here. Right now I can only think of sharing my Journey from an Average Student to Best Employee to Freelancer and everything in between.    Now I have almost everything in my life, I can do whatever I want, I can buy anything of course had to suit my pocket but I have that much which can fulfill my daughter’s little dreams and my wife’s too. They are the only family I have. But road was not easy because of my foolish decisions which I now regret should have not taken. This blog might get long and boring for some people but if you stick to last you can comment me and share your thoughts about my journey till now.   MY SMALL LIFE, JOURNEY……. So I was born in a Middle Class family in Jodhpur, Rajasthan which was a Joint family in 1980’s but slowly, slowly it got nuclear and by 1990 we, My Father, Mother, Me and Younger brother left rest of my family which includes Grandfather, Grandmother, 2 Uncles, Aunts and their children went back to Punjab. So me and my brother raised in typical middle class Punjabi family, every morning with heavy Aloo Paratha(Stuffed Chapatti) with Glass full of milk though I have eaten this practically whole of my life almost every day but still feels I can eat daily.

My mother and father both were working; Mom from home and father had a Shop. I was a average student in my school time no special interest except Cricket. Back then everyone in India if you ask a school kid what he wants to become you will get the same answer, I want to me a cricketer and I was not the exception though I played well but as you grow up your priority your likes dislike changes accordingly. Though I never stopped liking cricket but now I am in college so other things also stepped into my life and daily routine.   Now I have started going out with my friends even to other cities also which my parents did not allowed previously. When I was in my 1st year started working in a finance company but that line was not for me. I knew I cannot be a salesman so I switched and started working in a software development company and from there my life changed. This was the line that suited me and was of my interest. When I got my first salary that was the one of my happiest day but now I don’t remember what I did with that. After 10 Years in the same company in 2012and worked very hard even got Best Employee Award 3 times.

I got married and a beautiful girl came into my life my Wife Aanchal. Everything was going great. Then suddenly though came into mind to leave the job and startup something on my own. By now I have saved a good saving in my account from my salary and side business. Now I wanted to do full time in business. But this decision  was not my own I discussed with my better half and she said if you feel right you can go ahead.  So I started this new adventure thought it would be easy but the road was not that smooth which I thought it would be, had to many hiccups, bad decisions, tension at home but eventually everything came to normal and smooth running, though it took me around 4 years to settle and in between to many negative thoughts came into mind but my wife she supported me like a ROCK. Because of her I was able to stand.  In 2012 October I became father of a girl. We named here SEHER. Now she is almost 6 years old and we are very happy in our small life. Though I have a lot to write and share with you but it will become boring for you I know. But if you want I can write do let me know in the comment box below.    Thanks and we will be in contact daily.

Hey prashantkhanna

Hello prashantkhanna! Welcome to Steemit! Hope you'll like the community here. As a start, here are 5 tips that we believe will be helpful to you:

  1. Keep your passwords safe: Unlike conventional sites, Steemit has 4 types of passwords. Each offers varying degrees of access to your account, so know where and when to use each of them. Also, make sure to keep them all safe and secure.
  2. Get Steem rewards: When writing a post, you'll have the option to choose how to receive your reward: "Default 50%/50%" or "Power Up 100%". As of this moment, choosing Default 50%/50% is the better option. But this can change over time. Check our post to know more.
  3. Upvote wisely: When upvoting, wait at least 30 minutes after the post is published to maximize your curation reward. Also, make sure not to upvote too much too fast so as not to drain your voting power.
  4. Know your Steem, Steem Dollars and Steem Power: Steem and Steem Dollars are the 2 main currencies here. Convert and power up more Steem into Steem Power so you can have higher values on your upvotes.
  5. Have Fun and Enjoy!
