Life in Korea, Korean University Student!

Hello fellow Steemians!

Today I am here to introduce myself and my life that will hopefully prove interesting to some of you! So let me cut straight to the chase and get on with it!

I am a foreign student currently studying in Korea and Korea University. I moved to Korea in 2016 on what was pretty much a whim with a bit of research. I have lived here for nearly two years now, and things still astound me and surprise me!

If I had to define myself by a few words (lets say 10, because I can 't think of any more than 10...) I would have to use these words:

  • Photography
  • Positive
  • Computers
  • Odd!
  • Computer Gaming (does it count?! It's two words...)
  • Crazy!
  • Fun-loving
  • Judgemental
  • Argumentative
  • Love trying new things!

  • Okay... So a few of these were more than one word, but that was harder than I thought! I feel like that's an odd list of words, but I feel like they fit me pretty well. But you'll learn more about me in the future anyway :)

Maybe a better question to ask though, is what I can bring to this platform. Well, luckily for both you and myself I've already thought this through! I think that I am in quite a good position to help people and answer questions regarding Korea, University life, or life in general here. And since I am from New Zealand originally, I can also answer any questions about that that people may have!

Being a student in Korea? How to go to uni here? Requirements? I will do my best to help anyone that wants to know!

How do you do your rubbish? What's the culture like? What is the biggest shock you will get? It might be different for you and me, but I will do my best!

    New Zealand!

Living in New Zealand for 18 years gives you quite a good insight into the country! I would love to help anyone who wants to move there, or just has questions about what it's like!

As you can see, photography is one of my big hobbies (all of these photos are my own :) ). Living abroad is hard, and I want to be able to help anyone that I can, while sharing my own stories and experiences.

To help me get started, please let me know if there's anything you want to learn, anything that you are curious about!

Hope to see you all again soon :)

Welcome! Im out here in Daegu. If you ever get the chance to come to Gyeongsangbuk-do province, I recommend Gyeongju. It was the old capital during the Shilla Dynasty. Lots of great history and scenery there

Thank you! I've never been to Daegu, but it is somewhere I want to visit when I can!

I think we've met before! :) I am @devi1714, I just wanted to make a new account so I can post different content! Problems? Sure! What type of problems do you want to know about? And problems with Korea or New Zealand? :)

    Ah!!! Devi, it’s you!!!! I didn’t know that. :-)

I’ll question you about the future problems if they will happen. lol!!! Now I’m preparing for the trip as possible as I can. :-))

I hope you get the chance to visit both! I can't really say which one is more amazing or if either is better, so it's better just to visit both I think :P

@zephyr119 you were flagged by a worthless gang of trolls, so, I gave you an upvote to counteract it! Enjoy!!
