Introduction to BluePill44

Peace Hive community! My name is Paul Moreland, but I create content under the handle “BluePill44.” I am a fitness enthusiast, health and wellness advocate and social entrepreneur. I’ve also been involved in journalism since 2001, with a career dispersed across different mediums of media.

My greatest gift though is my love for music, its creation and curation. I will be building out a new home for the curation of Hip Hop, right over here on Hive. I hope you will join us building HipHopolis, brick by brick.
I currently reside in Atlanta surrounded by a team of creatives.

Hip Hop was always built on the premise of it being community orientated, because it is an art form that originally from the people for the people and by the people. The Hive Network truly gives us the opportunity to democratize the strangle hold that corporations have had on culture and finally put the power back in the hands of the “real” stake holders of “our” industry. Power to the People! And the power of the vote in a true democratic society.

I contribute to the creation of music that I consider complimentary to the culture that I curate, which is centered on consciousness. I create music with my twin brother, Red Pill under the banner of Twin Pillars and we have a vibrant following and active Fanbase. I would best describe our style as, “Mobb Deep meets The Last Poets.” Our music is artistic renditions of roles and positions we’ve seen play out in almost half a century of bearing witness to the beauty and the bullsh*t of humanity.
We grew up in Flatbush, Brooklyn during the Golden Era of Hip Hop and as Kendrick Lamar recently said, “we survived outside, all from the music!”
Hip Hop deserves a decentralized home where it can reward its own and applaud its new comers, encouraging them all to interact in community.

So needless to say thank you for welcoming me to this community and allowing this connection to take place. I am so grateful for the opportunity to add value to this entire platform by sharing content and curation and creating community around our love for content, communication and culture. As peers I can’t wait for us to share and help build one another’s dreams into physical things.
