My Journey to HIVE. Introducing Myself.

Since I'm new to this platform, I'll just introduce myself first. I'm David and my birthplace is in the United States. I'm 29 years old. Sorry to say, but I still don't know much about this platform. Though I looked around on the internet a bit. But, I just have this feeling like I need to know more. And that's a reason that I'm not sharing much about myself currently. But, I do have plans to share my work/ideas here and I think we'll get to know about myself day by day. What's the rush in it, right!

I kind of have to be busy most of the time with my work. But, with my profession, I'm also a man of passion. I like to watch people do creative drawings on the internet and I also do them. In the past, I used to do these kinds of stuff using traditional tools like colors, brushes, charcoal or pencil, etc. But, now life's a lot easier. I use my tablet and a touch pen to do drawings and for more professional work I just use my PC and adobe illustrator. For my office work, I also have to use the Autocad software a lot. I use the Autodesk sketchbook pro software on both my tablet and computer. I still have some tools for traditional drawings. I usually don't get enough time to do this stuff. I just pass my free time by watching videos or pictures of other people's work. Also whenever I start doing drawings mainly when I'm drawing something with real colors on paper or canvas. My wife tells things like, "you're not a child to play with colors". I guess other people do not understand the emotions of an artist. Though the word artist sounds a little bit professional, I just don't have any other idea of what to say.

Now, let's just get to the point of how did I end up here, on this platform that I was completely unaware of. Before I move on to the story, I'll inform you that I also wander around on social media and watch people play games. I watch them on Twitter because here on the trending page you'll always get the best content. Just a few days ago, when I was watching posts and pictures about NFT I saw a post where the user use the tag #splinterlands. It looked new but I didn't think much of it because nowadays I see people use tags for all sorts of things that they want. I just skipped it. Then 1/2days later I noticed this same tag in a gameplay video post. I played the video and saw the player is playing a card game. The cards looked good but I didn't get the idea of how the game was being played. I then had this slight idea that these cards may be NFT and that is why people use this same tag in both art and gaming posts. And then, after I read that post and also saw some posts using the same tag. After then actually, I had the idea about this game. I then searched on youtube and also a few things. From there I learned that I'll need to spend 10$ and buy a spellbook to play the game. The money wasn't the problem but I just thought that will it be worth it? And decided to do some more research. I then found out about this platform. The Hive Blockchain. First NFT, then gaming, then spending money, and then blockchain and crypto. It increased my interest to a maximum state. It took me 1 night and my full weekend to figure this out. I checked out this platform, the game, saw reviews, and a lot. I was wondering mostly to see how much afford are people giving here to make a better contest. And then I decided and bought a spellbook and then created an account too in this blockchain. For this part I didn't have to work as the game itself did whatever needed to be done. Though I had to take help from youtube. And that the whole story is in a short form. Now to the next part-

Even back then I had no idea of how to post here. I wasn't even planning to do so. I played some matches of that game but had no idea how to play properly. Then I went to Twitter again and then to hive from their post links. I saw that many people are sharing their posts about this game including their strategy/planning. Those posts helped me a lot to get an idea about how to play the games. Then I explored a little bit. And saw that people from all over the world share content on every topic there is. It's like a place where people can share whatever they want, speak fearlessly, share their creative works and also get rewards for sharing them. For this whole week, I saw so many posts and articles and watched people's vlogs and everything. These inspired me to also share my own idea and works on this platform. In this post, I just talked about my journey here and a little bit about myself. I want people to know me by my work, not by my name or my status.

I'll just end my post here. Since I didn't have any plans of what to share, I'm sorry that I'm not sharing anything in this post. I barely got the time to just write this post. And I'm hoping to share normal content about SPLINTERLANDS since that was the medium how which I reached this platform. I'll try to share something special on the weekend when I'll get some free time to focus. I'm also planning on sharing stories from my life's experience and some gameplay videos.

I'm looking forward to a long and adventurous journey with you all. Getting to know people from all over the world especially people with great skills and creativity and also their thoughts about life. It's a huge achievement for one's life I think.

HAPPY BLOGGING.
