Hi, I'm Missbeauté!

I hold the power of the element of the earth. I am a Capricorn, and as vast as the world has become, I speak three languages, which are English, Filipino, and Chinese, with one dialect, which is Cebuano.

For 21 years, I have seen how the world has changed. How the pandemic turned people's lives miserable and how it changed their perspective. Yet, it has also changed mine.

It all began with a single fear that took people's lives away. That fear hides beneath the sorrows of people, and it emerges when that sorrow has been shaken. That's why it is within my notion that, as humans, we control our lives and how we react to certain adversity that might shudder our hope. The pandemic might have taken a toll on me, but it wasn't able to destroy all the hope and faith that I possess because it even made me stronger and wiser as I reflected on my home and learned how solitude works well for me.

The power of learning to stand on your own and to be on your own is that “independence” that no one could take away from you without permission. It is the power that you should not let anyone take. Solitude in times of chaos might be a solution to become calmer during calamity, to love during hatred, and to smile during sadness. However, I am an adventurous person, and I socialize a lot. People might see different things in me, but my version of who I really am in the mirror of truth is how I view myself.

I always find solace in the hobbies that I love. Learning new things has awakened most of the nerves in my brain to set forth in welcoming new knowledge. It has developed the capacity of my brain to send a message to my body to push itself to its limit. Laying in bed is my solace in times of distress, as sadness will always find its way to control my feelings. Yet, I am an advocate for change and emotional support. I will always support people in their breakthrough towards growth. Reading has always been my passion since I was young, and I've been collecting books since then. That's why I view things differently at different times. Aside from reading, I also watch movies and series in my free time. I am a Netflix girl who makes time to scroll through new documentaries and mystical creatures that will awaken my consciousness of the world beyond our imagination and limits.

After years of delving into the world of imagination and reality while unlocking the doors of new knowledge, I have also set forth into physical exercise. I am fond of playing table tennis, as I was an athlete during my elementary and high school days. In my senior high school years, I have taken a huge leap into going introspection. I sought answers in the days that my mind went havoc with questions I couldn't understand. And in my college days, I found myself in a place of reality with the what-if's of the series of unfortunate events; I couldn't grasp its purpose.

As I look for a retrospective, puzzles from the present have emerged for the future that fate has set aside for me. I whistle at the air while my heart goes with it, flying with the current of the wind. I find comfort in the blows of the wind.

Now, I want to share my dreams—a life-long journey that is set ahead of me. In this path I chose, I want to use HIVE as a medium to be of help to others while using my hands to interpret what my heart is saying. To voice out our feelings doesn't always mean to verbalize them; sometimes, all it takes is a pen and paper or a gadget to write what you feel and be taken out of that burden. That's why joining HIVE has always been a must for me because I see what it can contribute to the world and how it can make a change in people's lives. I became interested in the world of writing, but before meeting HIVE, writing had been my side hobby, like writing my diaries and everything else that I could think of. And there is a woman who introduced me to HIVE. She told me that it's all about writing a blog, and so I became interested. I have never been into blogging, but seeing people enjoy blogging their daily lives and connecting with others makes my ambivert (introverted extrovert) heart excited about what the world of blogging can offer.

A thunderstorm may come my way, but I will always hope for its rainbow. Sunshine will always rise in the darkness we see, for the light will bring sunshine to put a smile on our faces. And to live while sharing my experiences and thoughts is a help I can lend to those with whom I do not speak, know, or share bonds. No matter how far people are, blogging will always find its way to you because the world is full of innovative technology stuff. And HIVE is its product.

I shall bid my goodbye like how I love sunsets when they disappear and sunrises appear.

I shall say goodbye to the world of introductions and start my adventure into the world of blogging.
